Zero Robotics is a robotics programming competition where we program SPHERES (Synchronized Position Hold Engage and Reorient Experimental Satellites) inside the International Space Station (ISS). The season runs from early September to December. Each year the challenge is different, and all of the coding is done online on the website. After several phases of virtual competition in a simulation environment that mimics the real SPHERES, finalists are selected to compete in a live championship aboard the ISS. Last year coach Carol led a team of 10+ high school girls to the ISS Finals at MIT.
